6, 7, and 8th grade news:

What a great year! This year our confirmands learned about worship, baptism, the 10 Commandments, the Bible and prayer. They also helped in the community, made care packages for college students, collected food for the food shelf, and performed more than 1100 hours of volunteer service. Wow!

Many, many thanks to Pastor Erik Saxvik for his leadership with the 6th grade, and to our small group leaders: Dave Bollmeier, Joel Hoeger, Cindy Watts, Cheri Aldridge, Cathy Dalnes, Kim Burfeind, Gervaise Wilhelm, Bob Lawson, Nancy Vaiden, Gina Best, Kathy Bloomquist, Jason Burton, Carrie Schmidt, Ron Salber, Sid Wolterstorff, and Phil Burfeind. Their passion for kids and for Christ the King are what makes this ministry so successful.

Remember to use those Bibles over the summer (and keep them handy for the fall!) and to keep track of your summer service hours and GodTalks!
